As much as Thanksgiving is about enjoying good food, family, and friendship, it’s also about reflecting on the things for which we’re most thankful. And here at Pizza Hut, we’re grateful for our amazing team members and guests who make life’s little moments extra special.

For example: last week in Phoenix, Arizona, a really amazing moment happened between a guest and our team members. The guest–who wishes to remain anonymous– made Monday night unforgettable for one of our teams in Phoenix, Arizona. Sam, the Restaurant General Manager, received this note (pictured above), along with an extra generous tip of $300: “Pay it forward, God loves you.”

Sam says for her, the gesture meant the world. “I’m thankful to know that people still care and are genuinely warmhearted,” she says of the guest.

Our roughly 150,00 team members all over the US work hard to make Pizza Hut amazing for the wonderful people who visit our restaurants, and this Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest nights of the year for our teams. So as you gather with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving, show our teams some love, and thank you to the guest who reminded us of the true meaning of the holidays!
