Adam Olvera’s love of Pizza Hut started in his younger years and now, his love of the brand goes skin deep. Literally.

“I don’t think anyone was shocked that my first tattoo had something to do with Pizza Hut,” Olvera said. “It’s my favorite food. My favorite brand. It just made sense to make that permanent.”

Olvera has been working for Pizza Hut franchisee, Southern PacPizza, since 2018 and has since amassed an impressive collection of swag, clothing, and yes, even a Pizza Hut tattoo. Here is his story.

When did your love of Pizza Hut begin?

When I was younger, we would always order Pizza Hut for family dinners, which was always a highlight for me. Some of my fondest memories are being with friends and family eating pizza, which really started my love for Pizza Hut. By the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to work for the brand because it combined two things I really enjoyed – driving and delicious pizza. Now, my friends always hit me up for pizza when we’re hanging out, but it’s a win/win for me because I love it.

What’s your coolest Pizza Hut swag?

Over the years, I have collected a lot of Pizza Hut merch. I bought the Gravity x Pizza Hut Original Pan® Weighted Blanket. I love it because it looks like a Pizza Hut pizza but in blanket form. And it’s really warm. When Pizza Hut released their Tastewear collection, I snagged the tracksuit and sandals and the pizza keychains that I keep in my delivery car. I wear the sandals all the time [when I’m off the clock]!

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for Pizza Hut?

When I first saw that Pizza Hut was giving away free pizza tattoos [at the Fire & Ink Tattoo event in February 2022], I thought THAT is the ultimate merch, and I knew I had to get one. I was already considering getting a tattoo, but the timing felt so perfect that I thought Pizza Hut has to be my first tattoo since I love the brand so much. So my friend and I got up early and drove two hours to Los Angeles to celebrity tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado’s studio, who Pizza Hut was partnering with for the event. I decided on “No One Out Pizzas The Hut” and got it right above my heart on my chest to show my love of Pizza Hut. Definitely the craziest thing I’ve ever done, but I am really glad my first tattoo was of Pizza Hut. It didn’t hurt too bad…it was still worth it!

What did your family and friends think of your Pizza Hut tattoo?

My friends and family definitely thought I was crazy for getting a Pizza Hut tattoo but at the same time they understood because they know how much I love [the brand].

What’s your favorite thing to order at Pizza Hut?

Supreme Stuffed Crust. Sometimes I’ll switch it up and order Meat Lover’s but I always get Stuffed Crust.

Describe your love of Pizza Hut in a few words.

It is an honor working for the brand. My coworkers are amazing, and we treat each other like family – they’ve become some of my best friends. And of course, I love the food.
