Savannah Franklin is Chief Legal Officer for Pizza Hut U.S., primarily focusing on providing strategic legal guidance and support to facilitate critical business initiatives spanning from franchise system governance to major technology implementations and crisis management. Since May 2023, Savannah has served as Interim Chief Development Officer for Pizza Hut U.S. In this role, she focuses on partnering with franchisees across the U.S. to drive new growth while strategically transforming legacy estate.
Prior to joining Pizza Hut U.S., Savannah was an attorney in the Investment Funds practice group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. At Akin Gump, Savannah advised established and emerging managers in the organization and ongoing operations of domestic and international hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds.
Savannah received her B.S. in Government and History from Evangel University and her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. In addition to her legal work, Savannah has a passion for helping children and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Jonathan’s Place, a non-profit that helps provide a safe place for abused and neglected children and teens in North Texas.
Savannah lives in Dallas with her husband, Travis, and their two rambunctious sons, Luke (6) and Tyler (2). Their interests include musical theater, eating pizza, going to the Dallas Zoo, learning to play tennis, and avidly following Dallas sports.
