Melissa Friebe is Chief Marketing Officer for Pizza Hut U.S. Melissa comes from our sister brand, Taco Bell, where she spent 27 years nurturing and growing the brand through roles in finance, marketing, insights, and band strategy. In these roles, Melissa successfully built the foundational consumer-driven insights and innovation systems that are still used today. Melissa has been a key leader in Taco Bell’s growth, from quesadillas to nacho fries, value menus, and so much more.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Product Design from Stanford University. She and her husband, Ted, have been married for 22 years and share two teenage boys, Niko and Lucas. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, hosting friends and family, eating, and traveling.
