George Felix is the Chief Marketing Officer for Pizza Hut U.S. In this role, he oversees Marketing and Public Relations for the brand. Prior, George was Director of Marketing for KFC Global where he was responsible for the brand communications strategy and positioning for the brand globally. He also served as Director of Brand Communications for KFC U.S. leading national TV and radio advertising, digital/social advertising, product packaging, in-restaurant point of purchase merchandising, and menuboard design. During his time in the role, the brand grew behind the award-winning ‘Return of Colonel Sanders’ advertising campaign which also saw growth in sales for more than four years.
Prior to joining KFC, George held several brand management roles at Procter & Gamble during his six years with the organization. In that time, he worked on the Old Spice brand, leading several award-winning advertising campaigns.
George holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He and his wife, Mary, live in Dallas with their 2 children.
