Matt Bird serves as Chief Technology Officer for Pizza Hut U.S. In this role, he leads the Engineering function responsible for bringing critical customer and team member technologies to life. Matt has been key to driving the success of the Yum! Byte platform and its rollout across Yum! brands. He led Quality Engineering for all Byte Products, where his technical expertise and solid leadership approach have been critical to the brands digital transformation.
Before joining Yum!, Matt was an Automation Architect at Brierley + Partners, where he implemented loyalty and customer rewards programs for several global brands. He also held leadership positions at Ziosk, where he advanced next-generation pay-at-the-table solutions and at Maxim Integrated, where he oversaw post-silicon verification and validation for secure microcontrollers and authenticators.
Matt is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and lives in Cross Roads, Texas with his wife and son.
