Matthew Murray is a regarded as a legend who has been with the Pizza Hut brand more than 20 years and a peer mentor who has really lived out his dreams. Let’s get to know him!
What brought you to the Pizza Hut brand and what has encouraged you to grow your career here?
I always loved the Pizza Hut brand and the environment of growth. When I started looking for work, a Pizza Hut restaurant was the first place I thought of.
What are some of the ways that you develop your people?
I assess the training needs and complete a training plan to meet those needs. I then follow up with consistent teaching and ongoing development. It’s important to keep the trainee challenged.
How has your time with your organization and the Pizza Hut Brand helped you grow yourself and your career?
I have had many mentors including area coaches, training teams and directors. I have also grown through training courses in the e-learning tool, workshops and in-person training sessions.
What did it mean to you to be invited to attend the Spring Meeting and receive the award?
I was very grateful to be invited to the conference and be able to experience the whole event. I was very surprised and honored to be presented with an award at the Spring Conference. It was something I will always remember.
Congratulations to Matthew Murray!
