If you’ve moseyed over to the other side of the pond lately, you’ve probably noticed that the Pizza Hut delivery in the UK has a pretty good looking menu. With pizzas like the Tuna Sweetcorn Melt, the Farmhouse and The Meaty One, you’re sure to find something tasty to satisfy that undeniable pizza craving. But recently the team had one pizza deal on the menu that’s really special: the Pudsey Pizza Deal.
For one week only, this very special deal came complete with two large pizzas, garlic bread and any side to benefit the local UK charity, BBC Children in Need. Added bonus? Your delivery team will most surely be sporting a pair of Children in Need Pudsey the bear ears as they hand over your dinner. (Who is Pudsey you ask? The sweet bear riding the delivery motor bike above.)
This effort—combined with other fundraising events throughout the year both at the Pizza Hut headquarters in the UK and in restaurants all over the country—has resulted in a 2016 pledge to Children in Need at £75,000 from the Pizza Hut UK Delivery team!
Big news and so very well deserved for this great organization whose vision is that every child in the UK has a childhood that is safe, happy and secure, and that each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. By providing grants to projects and organizations both small and large, BBC Children in Need locally supports all areas of the UK to empower disadvantaged children and make a difference in their life.
Plus they have Pudsey, who is adorable and cuddly. And who happens to ride Pizza Hut delivery motor bikes. I mean, come on. #Pudseyonfleek
