Every year Pizza Hut gives out a trio of awards that highlight excellence in different aspects of our field operations.

The ballots are in for 2015 and the winners have been chosen! Read more about each award below as well as watch the videos to learn more about the amazing team members who brought the energy and achieved truly amazing results.


 

The Donald M. Kendall Award is given out to three RGMs who are true champions of all of our principles and who consistently demonstrate operational and people excellence. These RGMs drive for breakthrough in every aspect of their restaurant, including both operational and customer service metrics, while also growing the business. These individuals are focused and intentional about consistently delivering outstanding business performance while developing a great team.

Gerson Madrid of Dallas, TX

Terry Barton of Weatherford, OK


 

The Lou Folino Award celebrates an RGM who has held the position of RGM in the Pizza Hut family for 5 years or more. This individual is a role model for leadership in his or her restaurant and community by living our principles every day. Lou Folino had a legendary passion for his restaurant and his community. He was a true Customer Maniac whose ownership mentality set the standard for the award that bears his name.

2015 Winner: Louise Hodges of Caro, MI


 

The Connect with Effect: BOOK IT! Champion celebrates an RGM who consistently demonstrates a commitment to the BOOK IT! Program. This individual is a role model in his or her restaurant and community for actively recognizing students for meeting reading goals, partnering with schools to support reading and other school-related initiatives. This RGM sets the standard for celebrating reading at Pizza Hut.

2015 Winner: David Lines of Anderson, IN
